Garmin Communicator

I have a Garmin Edge 305. Every time that I go to upload my rides Garmin Connect says that I do not have Communicator on my computer. I download it and upload my ride and the next time it does the same thing. Why is it on staying on my computer or why can't Connect find Communicator.
