Hi, when the activity is shared on Facebook, it shows a blue triangle Garmin icon. Is there anyway to make it display a icon of the route map like e.g. mapmyrun?
I am using a Mac with OSX Lion and Safari browser.
I would love to know the answer to that question as well. Mine posts the garmin triangle with nothing other then what you named the run. I mean come on Garmin can't at least post how far you ran or something??? Your friends on Facebook probably have no clue what that is that you just posted.
+ 1000 I completely agree. The blue triangle means nothing for facebook users, and when you compare with runkeeper or Endomondo, you get all details on the facebook wall. No need to click !
If we buy a great Garmin device, it is not to keep on running with an iPhone and a free of charge application.
Try using the 'Activities' app in Facebook. You can make it sync with GC or with your watch directly.
It not only shows the route you used, but it also features a little man running / biking on the route and dependend on your privacy settings also show other activities in the neighberhood.
I am having similar problems, my rides are public and I click on share and have all the choices of email twitter etc but when I click on the Facebook or any of them the dropdown box disapperas and nothing happens. I use Friefox and have installed the Garmin compatability add on and still no joy - can anyone help?!
