Uploading Activities Issue

I recently bought a new laptop, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64. My Garmin is a Forerunner 305.

I have installed Training Center and it seems to work fine. As far as I know my Communicator Plug-In is fine, and I have it running in Windows Vista compatibility.

when I go to Garmin Connect, the site reocgnizes the device. However, when I click "Upload All New Activities" it does nothing. It does not seem to be able to pull any data from my watch, despite the fact that I was able to see it in Training Center.

Any ideas?

what browser are you using?

if Internet Explorer 8 or 9, turn on Compatability View (in Tools menu) for garmin.com.

that has solved a lot of your type of issue.

One would think for a fix that easy Microsoft would have that feature run automatically.

Glad to hear that that fixed it.

And I agree with you .......... usually things are automatically "backward compatible" without the user having to do anything.
