Integration with new FB timeline and Open Graph

Hey there,

I was noticing what Nike+ has done with the new Open Graph Facebook timeline app updates (image here) and thought it would be pretty cool if Garmin considered doing something similar. It would be awesome to have automatic (or controlled) updates after workouts which could show a thumbnail of your route coupled with time, distance, pace, and other relevant statistics. The Open Graph feature of Facebook would allow it to maintain a separate post which could continually update with total miles, weekly mileage, most miles in a day/month, etc.

Any plans to update the sharing capabilities to reflect new Facebook changes or make it more appealing cosmetically?
  • I can't believe that Garmin focuses so litte on social media ventures for the Connect service. It is inherently social – why not make it easier to share and thus increase awareness for the service?

Completely agreed. It's a great tracking service with a very nice visual aspect as well - wouldn't it be in Garmin's interests to show off all it can do by encouraging users to share their activities?
