Workout upload issue

I created a basic workout (warm up, interval, cool down) for my 310xt in GC and when I hit the upload button it tells me:
Garmin Connect is currently unable to send power duration and power target to your device. You can still send the workout to your device, but we will change power durations to 'Press Lap Button' and power targets to 'No Target.' Do you want to send the workout anyway?
I'm wanting to target pace over distances so I'm not sure what it's saying about power duration and target. Am I missing something? Has anyone had issues uploading workouts?

    I have the same problem.

I am also wondering how to upload a workout in the calender to the device.

I got the same warning message too when I tried to upload my first workout, but as my workout had no power steps in it I just hit OK. It uploaded the workout no problem. The message relates to workouts that have power based steps in them, if your workout is pace/distance based then it should be OK.

The problem that I have now experienced is having successfully created and transferred my first workout I wanted to do a second one. I managed to create and save the new workout OK, and then transferred it to my FR 405. Aside from the same warning message about the power workouts the transfer was fine, but when I look on my device only the new workout is there, and the one I had transferred earlier has disappeared.

Can you only have one workout from GC?

Also, another warning. When you transfer your workout from GC to your device it seems to delete all previous workouts that you might have stored on your device. This is a real nuisance if you had all of your usual workouts stored on your device. Lucky they are still in Training Centre.

I have the same issue as Adam; transferring an advanced workout created in Garmin Connect to my FR405 causes any other workout on it to be replaced.

    Power Intervals

I have the same issue, I'm trying to create workouts to do on my indoor trainer. I want to do them at a specific power so am disappointed with Garmin Connect. I've contacted support and we'll see what they come back with but looking at the dates on your messages I'm not hopeful of a quick fix. Did any of you guys contact support and get anywhere?

I haven't bothered contacting support, instead I have just carried on using Training Centre for creating and transferring my workouts. This has always worked for me in the past, so no need to change. One day Garmin Connect might be able to do everything without the need for Training Centre, but for now looks like we need to use both.

I haven't used power workouts, but I think that you can create these no problem in Training Centre.
