Civilian GPS is not like in the Hollywood movies. Urban jungles (large cities), tunnels, mountain terrain all block and/or reflect the radio signals from the satellites that form the GPS constellation. Since civilian GPS units only use one frequency they will often fail to achieve a fix or give an inaccurate fix in these situations.

It is physics. There's nothing wrong with your 1200.
