Activity is automatically "public"

Hello,

I'm french user and I've buy recently a Garmin Edge 800. I noticed yesterday that after importing my activities, they were by default in "public" on the interface of Garmin Connect. I tried several times to my activities status "private" by clicking on the image for this action. However this does not work. This is a bug in the web interface ?

Can you help me please

    I already do this. I test this operation with different internet navigator (Safari, IE and Chrome) and different OS (OS X and Microsoft) but the problem is the same : I could not change this option on all activities.

    It's probably a problem with my "account" ?

    Are you aware that when you change your default option in the "settings" page, that only affects activities uploaded after you change "settings".

    For previously uploaded activities, you have to change each one by clicking on the "padlock" icon. (I'm not sure if you're saying that you tried that).

    I tried this operation several time. I think it's a bug in the Garmin Connect or in my account because this action worked very well before, but now it's not possible for me do take my activities "public" when I click on the "padlock" icon.

    I m already reset all my cookies on my computers. if I'm the only one in this case it means that it is a bug on my profile. Do I contact the helpline directly ?

    I'm sorry, but I don't have any other suggestions. I've tried everything on my system, and it all seems to function correctly.

    I read the post and I do this test :

    1 - I test with IE 8 and the problem is the same
    2 - I delete all activies on my dashboard. I import all actives form my GPS (on my profile I'm select Default Privacy, and then select Private). I click on the "padlock" icon but the problem is the same. I test the URL in another navigator and I've the message that indicate "I can't access to this page". It's mean that the activities is private and not public. But now when I want to share my activities it don't work !!!!

    I'm going to read the post where people have this problem : enable to share an activities.
