Garmin Connect RSS feed shows miles and feet instead of km and meters

I just noted that in the RSS feed for my activities the units are always statute, even if I set them to metric in the profile.
is there a way to change the RSS behaviour?

Guess there is no official Garmin way to show the RSS in metric in stead of statute... too bad.

But there is an earlier thread regarding this issue; (https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?t=1905&page=2) where HENKNL posted a workaround.

Add "&actionMethod=page/usersignin.xhtml:userSwitcher.switchSystem" at the end of RSS-url and it will be presented in metric (log off from GC first)
