Runkeeper has a very pretty sharing with friends on facebook link. It contains a small summary of the stats fo the run and the thumbnail of the map run. I wish you could do the same, it makes it look better than just a link on facebook. we do use these things to decorate our feeds with content you know. thank you and keep the goo work.
Me and my wife just started using Garmin Connect (with FR 310xt) and really love it! After a long bicycle ride today we were suprised how poor the facebook sharing feature is :( No minimap, ride details were in miles (we use metric) and the whole message all together was not visually attractive.
Please check the ideas of other services like Sports-Tracker, Runkeeper and others mentioned here. Mimic those and make it better than competitors feature ;)
Hello, On my GC, there is a "share to facebook" button coming with others on a bar at the top of avery single tracks I am looking details about . But this button is not clickable... I have to log to my Runkeeper account and then share... I do support this thread too :D

The Share buton is not clickable if the activity is set as private. You need to set the privacy to "Everyone", then you should be able to click share.

Hello, indeed : there is a padlock close to the share button on each single session webpage. It has to be cliked on and unlocked, then access is given for sharing on FB. THx :)
+1. I'm amazed by how long this thread is. I just got the 610 and I think I'm going to love it, but Nike is whooping on Garmin in the aesthetic arena. The connect interface is nice but sharing on social media is not only ugly but really a wasted opportunity to share data. C'mon garmin!!
+1. But given that this thread has been running since 2011, I don't hold out much hope. Little things, Garmin, little things make lots of people happy and they will keep buying your products. Lots of bad little things (like Forerunner 620 wireless :mad:) make people not so happy and they start to look elsewhere...
