So I am trying to update the maps on my 1490T and the Garmin Lifetime Updater is saying that there is a software update available and that it needs to install the new software first before the maps can be updated. My issue is when I try to update the updater just says "Updating Software" and nothing else happens.. I have left it like this over night, tried it on different computers and nothing. Is there a way that I could manually update the software or does someone have any suggestions on what to do to get this to work before I start to use my gps as a coaster for my beer..
