Canadian Zumo 660 hangs when routing from US to Canada

My father purchased a zumo 660 with his Harley Davidson motorcycle awhile ago. We updated the firmware and the complimentary map as soon as he got it. No issues since, it's been several months.

First time my dad rode down to the United States, no issues getting there. However, while within the United States the GPS would hang attempting to route back into Canada. He tried at several different locations within the states with no luck, the GPS would begin routing and then freeze at 99%.

As soon as they crossed Niagara Falls into Canada, it worked again.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

zumo lockup crossing border

I had a similar problem, but in reverse. I live in the US and went to canada, ontario. No problem getting a route there. But coming back I set home as destination and it hit 95% and wouldn't go further until I physically crossed the border at Sarnia.
