Live Tracking Software for Nuvi 1300?

I just got a Nuvi 1300.
It seems to work just fine, but I'm a bit confused about one particular thing...

I'm used to the eTrex Legend that I used to have. I was able to connect it to my laptop, and watch the track of the GPS receiver live in the software on there.

Is there anything I can do that with for the Nuvi?

p.s. I know it's mainly meant as an in-car GPS receiver. I get that. I just want to be able to do this as well. If this one can't do it, I will probably return it and get something different.....or perhaps just get a second device for this and leave this Nuvi in the vehicle (I was just hoping to have both sets of functionality in a single device).

Nevermind,
I returned it.

I will probably get another eTrex Legend, or something along those lines, and then someday, one of the various in-dash models, so I can have both types.
