Uploaded my first ride from Edge 800 thru' Garminconnect. It captured everything except the date and time as two days earlier and ten hours latesr. Are these parameters not controlled by the satellites? How to sort?
I just got my 800 yesterday, and I have 2 activites from today with correct date and time.
When you turned on your Edge, did you allow it time to get a good satellite fix before pressing the start button?
You could set up "time of day" as a data field and make sure that it is correct before starting your activity. Or maybe use that to figure out what is going on with your device(?).
Some 310xt's have a hardware problem where the date/time are not preserved when the watch is turned off. This results in longer gps acquisition and if you don't wait wrong date/time for the event.

Perhaps your Edge has this problem.
Check the date/time on your edge before acquiring satellites when it has been off for some time.
