Route Not Showing Up on Detailed View

Recently I have been having a problem with my route not showing up in the detailed view, like on this ride:

However, when I click on the player view for the same exact ride it shows up:

This problem is very intermittent and I noticed it happened more on longer rides, so I figured it was a file size issue. However, on my first ever century ride it worked great:

Does anyone have any ideas? I have noticed that this problem began happening intermittently over the past couple of months, but prior to that everything worked great.

I have no idea if this is accurate, but perhaps the unit is set to not record the track, but it still records heart rate and speed?

The tracks are recording, they just aren't showing up in the detailed view. They show in the player section of Garmin Connect as well as they show up if I upload them into Rubitrack or Ascent. At the same time, they will show up correctly on some rides and on others they do not.

The device is an Edge 705 and my operating system on my Mac is OS 10.7
