Tracks on 1390T

I am new here and am looking to get my feet wet with a 1390T that is on sale at a local store. I am not sure what features I want yet so want to start cheap with this unit and figure it out from there. I travel the back roads and can get other peoples tracks of the rides they took previously. I know I can't do routes with that unit but can I put in a track .gpx that my buddy gave me and follow his off road course?

No. Some nuvi's will create tracks and will optionally (default is "no") display them on the map page but you can't use them for navigation.

I'm not sure, because I've never tried it, if you can load a track into a 1390 (via a GPX file) and have it display. You've piqued my curiosity.

Thanks for the reply. I just picked up the 1450 instead of the 1390. I will dig in and see what it can do.
