nuvi freezes when recalculation required

Guys try this please:
at your current location set it as a destination and drive anywhere. Thus you'll force nuvi to recalculate your route continuously. It will freeze and hang up pretty soon! Only power reset will wake it up. I could not achieve this with "dash" view, only with the main map view. It is obvious software bug. If you'll unplug the device from the 12V supply its built in battery will NOT keep it powered, so power reset is easy just unplug and plug it back immediately.
Please let me know which nuvis are bugged. I tried on 255WT.

Nuvi 500 Freezes

Not sure if this is the same problem, but I have had a Nuvi 500 with lifetime maps for a year. All has been well - have updated maps twice - but I just last week updated again and since then have had problems with it freezing. Has happened twice, once when I was not on a route and again when I was. Both times it happened just after a turn. Only way I can get it functional again is to unplug the power cord, then reconnect (hard to do on a motorcycle). Turning it off and back on just brings it back to the same stuck screen. The 'about' screen says I have Software Version 4.2 and GPS SW Version: 2.47b. Map Info says I have CN North America NT 2012.20 and CN North America NT 2011.20.

Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks.
