do they not work with uploading your Garmin information?

Last transfer with device Forerunner 405 was on Aug 4, 2011 6:32 PM. Activity transfer to Garmin Connect failed due to server error.

I hope the activity is saved on my computer, cause it's no longer on my watch

is there a fix? or do I need to use firefox?

  • I've been using Safari successfully for 3.5 years now, so to answer your question: yes, it works.

    However, there have been some issues in the last couple of days with automatically transferring data to Garmin Connect. It's not clear exactly what is causing the problem. Your activity should have been transferred to your hard drive. Search the forums here for more information on how to locate it. Once you do that, you can manually upload it to Garmin Connect.

    Hmmm - i've never had the issue before. I don't want to have to manual add them all the time. Are you having problems the past few days?

    Yes, this problem has only happened the last couple of days (that's what I said in my post). Otherwise, for the last 3.5 years, it has worked reliably and well.
  • You do not have to find your activities.

    Just log into you dashboard and hit manual upload.

    Your watch (310xt in my case) will be shown together with the activities that connect does not know about.

    This uploads those that are hanging around on your computer. Use this as a workaround until Garmin fix the ANT/server error.

    Hi everyone,

    I recently bought my Forerunner 610 and I'm having the exact same problem as mentioned. In my ANT agent it keeps coming up with:

    Last transfer with device Forerunner 610 was on 09/08/2011 8:59 PM. Activity transfer to Garmin Connect failed due to server error.

    I've re-paired my device and deleted history, but nothing has changed. I'm using Lion OS 10.7. I can upload my data via the 'upload' button on Garmin Connect, but this is no where near as good as having it done automatically. Please help me!

  • this evening my 310xt connected to ANT and uploaded to garmin connect with out any problem.

    Lets hope they have "fixed" their server problem.

    Same but different?

    I recently stepped up from a 110 to a 405. I had no issues with transferring my data via usb with the 110. The 405 does the transfer like it's supposed to, says transfer is complete, but the activities are not on the website. I found them on my hard drive, but I have no idea how to get them to transfer to garmin connect.:confused:
