ETA for connect?

Neither my husband or I can upload activities -- different computers, different browsers and different Garmins. Any idea how long it will be down? (We rarely have a downtime so I guess I'm spoiled!)
  • I see this note:

Dear Customers, thank you for all your early feedback on the latest version of Garmin Connect.
Unfortunately, we’ve identified bugs that need to be fixed before we redeploy the new features.

But I guess that means I also cannot use the old features, such as upload.

    Bummer.

    Edited....

I'm able to upload again :)
  • still couldn't get it to work in IE but working in chrome.

That downtime was during one day a week ago! This is something else.
  • My data is normally uploaded to Garmin Connect automatically but none of my sessions from today or from yesterday appears on Garmin Connect? What to do?

Your data might have been transferred from your device to your computer but not forwarded on to Garmin Connect since Garmin Connect was unavailable at that time.

Try using the "Upload Selected" option in the Garmin Connect Upload screen.

If your missing activities are listed, check the boxes for them, and then click on Upload Activites to pass them on to Garmin Connect manually.

    Thanks that worked.
  • What I'm seeing here is no automatic upload to Garmin Connect, but manual upload from the GC site works, as does upload from Garmin Training Centre.

Mac OS X Lion, Firefox 5 (although I think browser might be irrelevant), Ant Agent 2.1.9.1 Beta, and no idea what Garmin Communicator version except it will be the latest.
  • I have the same mac set up as you Philip,

I have had no automatic upload since August the 2nd, I just get a "failed due to server error" from the ANT agent.

If I try to file>upload from GTC I get a "sending to Garmin Connect, Authorizing (sic) with Garmin Connect" window.
Safari then opens a login window, I then get "congratulations you successfully authorised your GTC with Garmin Connect"

But the GTC window above is still there and no activity gets uploaded.
I have to "force quit" to exit GTC.

A manual upload from my GC dashboard uploaded the missing activities without a problem.
