Statute when logged in, statute UK when not

Can anyone tell me how to fix the following issue.

When I am logged in to Garmin Connect I see all measurements in statute. But if I log out, or share my activity with others, all the data is displayed in Statute UK (miles for distance, but meters and celcius elswhere).

Thanks in advance.
  • You can change the units when you are logged in by going to "settings" in the upper right corner, and then "display preferences."

When I'm logged in, I have the settings set to statute, which is what I see. But since anyone I share an activity in also lives in the US, I'd like them to see my activities in statute and not statute UK. But for some reason, when viewing my activities anyone not logged in sees statute UK.
  • I think something with this changed on GC in the last few days, which in fact is why I'm looking in this forum for an answer. For all the years I've used GC in the U.S. I've always seen statute (ie feet for total elevation gain) whether or not I was logged into GC. In the last few days I now am seeing meters when I am NOT logged in. I was hoping to find an announcement or acknowledgement by Garmin something has changed, I but I don't see anything in the forums. Very weird seeing the distance in miles, but the total elevation gain in meters.
