Hi, I just bought my first garmin 1100lm, the main problem is I find map browsing is almost impossible, every time i touch screen and drag across map, some address window pops up block the view and the screen will move back to center on it, I mean why??? I want to browse the map, not want to see some random adress which is meaningless on the map. is there any way to turn this stupid pop up off for good so I can browse the map as I wish? I can't even find a way to hide the popup it blocks the center of the map, it got to be something I missed or did wrong? i really hope there's "left" "right" "up" "down" buttons which will make browsing way more controlled and easier.
another problem is the touch screen seems very sluggish, sometimes i touch nothing happens, then touch a few times it works, sometime touch will get 2 characters, nothing like in ipad or nook color any touch will register crystal clear, do i need to use force to press on screen for this to work? i suspect maybe i got a bad unit?
