The average cadence for today's ride is ridiculously low, even if I consider stoppage time.
Split------Time------Moving----Cadence
1----------01:49:55--01:43:38--64
2----------01:27:27--01:01:08--72
3----------00:14:22--00:14:22--79
Summary----03:31:45--02:59:08--35
So I rode for 103 minutes (01:43:38) at a cadence of 64, 72 minutes (01:01:08) at a cadence of 72, 14 minutes (00:14:22) at a cadence of 79, and my average cadence was 35???
I rode for a total of 178 minutes and, if I multiply my average cadence times the amount of time I was riding at that speed, I had 12,090 pedal revolutions. Divided by 178 minutes is an average cadence of 67.9. That looks right. Even if I include the stoppage time of 32 minutes (so I was "riding" for 210 minutes), I'd have an average cadence of 57.6.
My average heart rate is equally odd. For laps 1, 2, and 3 the averages were 99, 89, and 122, yet the average shown on the Summary line is 45??!!
I'm using a Garmin Edge 500 with 2.80.0.0. I've attached the cvs output file.
