Garmin 620 with Intelliducer

Hi,

I've wired my brand new 620 with Intelliducer NMEA 0183 with best I could, but I don't seem to get the depth/water temp info.

Don't know how to troubleshoot this...how do I know if it is connected ok or not?

Mind you, I'm still on not on the water, but would like to ensure it works before I launch the boat.

Any help, for example which forum to post this question in, are appreciated.
