How to transfer favorites to new GPS?

I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 2450 LM and I would like to transfer all of my saved favorites from my old Garmin unit - a 255W. Is there a way to do this? I read the entire manual from both units and I can't find a way. I have removable media cards in both units and I had hoped that would ease the transfer.
