I regularly do c. 10 mile hikes with friends. I have a grey etrex Vista HCx, and they have the yellow etrex H model. Starting and ending logging at the same points, I consistently get distances about 10% greater than them. Is there a reason for this, for instance to do with how often the etrex records its position ? If so, can this be controlled ?
