De-Register FR305 for FR610

I have been using my Forerunner 305 for a year, on Garmin Connect and Training Center. I now have the Forerunner 610. I am giving my FR 305 to my husband.
How do I keep my previous log and continue using Connect and TC with my new watch?
Does my husband just create his account as if he had a 'new' FR305?

I'm fighting this myself.
I had a 410, gave it to my daughter. She opened her own acct, registered the 410 but the transferred data still goes to my account. Been waiting for a response from Garmin on this one.... nothing yet.

Part of the pairing process between the device and the ANT Agent is asking you to sign onto Garmin Connect so that in the future the ANT Agent can sign into Connect and upload the data automatically for you.

You can pair multiple devices to the ANT Agent, and hopefully each can have its own Garmin Connect sign on.

I would try removing the old device from ANT Agent and then re-pairing it,. (To remove device, see "Device Settings" for ANT Agent.)
