Map in Connect always starts in Mexico...

Hi Folks!
When I search activities in Garmin Connect, the Map always starts with results arround Mexico City! Though i like Mexico, i live in Germany and would like to start where i am. I can´t find an option in the menu to select a start point. Any ideas/tips?

This has been discussed many times on these forums.

Garmin chooses the default location, and changes it every week or two.

Many people have asked for the ability to be able to choose this or customize it. So far, no word from Garmin about whether or not this will be implemented.

Most useless feature ever. I use GC to map my own runs, not learn about random exotic locations.

It looks like Garmin sorts by route date so the newest route posted is at the top.
Unfortunately if you look at the info for the Mexico route you will see
Mexico Mon, Apr 5, 2049 4:52 AM Central Time (US & Canada)
So it's there because of a corrupt (or gamed) date and it's going to be there for the next 38 years :eek:
Unless Garmin can fix it before then........
