I always try to hit the lap button once I am done with a workout, before hitting the stop button. That way if I forget to hit stop, I the Training Center software I can delete a split that shows me driving all over the place. However in Garmin Connect I do not see a way to delete a split. Today's 4 mile run became 17.
I agree. This is a feature other sites and applications have had for years. No idea why Garmin cannot add this capability. It would be great to have as we all need to edit data sometimes.

Strange, but if you can remember to hit the lap why not just hit the stop then instead? There is no need to hit the lap at the end (because you will be creating an extra lap anyway) and then the stop.
