My Zumo 660 arrived and I set about to register the device with Garmin.
The registration date was set to exactly 1 year and 5 days before the correct date. 21 May 2010 instead of the correct date of 26 May 2011.
This effectively makes the unit out of warranty, no map updates and a year less in value !!!
I was wondering if any other members have had this problem?

I purchased my Zumo 660 from www.HandTec.co.Uk on May 24 2011.

Unit ID: 3686091172
I Registered the above unit on May 26 2011 before it had it's first gps fix.
YOUR SYSTEM HAS SET THE INCORRECT Registration Date of this GPS as May 21 2010.
I telephoned support and the correct Purchase Date was added to my
file but the Support individual was Unable to Change the Registration Date for my Zumo.
The map set installed on the unit is City Navigator NT 2011.10 Deluxe All
Regions 3DB+JV , Apr 10.
Date Unlocked: January 7 2011.
This is the map set the unit was received with.
1) There must be a way for my Registered Zumo 660 to show the correct
registration date.
This affects my map updates, the re-sale value, insurance value and
Warranty.
