I have a nuvi A50, and though there has been some update problems, Im really happy for it. I especially love the Junction view with lane assist function, but now, after the latest map update, this function is gone (The JCV map is empty... :() How can I solve this problem?
But I want to share my updates problem as well:
I have updated the software twice, with the ending result beeing that all my maps were gone...
The first time it happened I went directly to Garmins english site (This one) and I was able to reinstall all maps without problems.
Second time... I went to Garmin danish site (Im from Denmark):
"You have already downloaded a map update, you are not allowed to do it again" (Its a rough translation sorry..)
:confused: I had no maps installed at all!!
So I came back to this Garmin site, and was allowed to reinstall all maps.
For that I say 1000 times thank you Garmin, but why are your updates rules not the samme in every countries?
Troubles can happen while updating, and it great to see that Garmin allows reinstalling maps if they are gone, but not in Denmark?? Strange.
Anyway thanks for your help, right now Im missing my Junction view with lane assist function!
