I'm a novice GPS user and recently purchased a 60csx to replace my etrex. Also purchased a backroads chip for British Columbia. The latter works fine and shows all the trails, backroads, etc; however, when I enter a waypoint and press "Go to" it will only show the road access. This is fine, however, I can't seem to switch to a screen which shows the direct route via straight line. The only way I can seem to make it work is to take out the mapbook chip. Any ideas or similar experience? Thx.
