I have an etrex vista hcx and am using it with a maptech terrain navigator standard edition program run on a compaq presario dedicated to this use. the etrex is fine with this program, accepting waypoints, tracks , routes to and from the computer.
however, I cannot transfer waypoints taken with the gps on the ground to the computer.
I also use a garmin forerunner 201 with this program and computer and it has been completely compatible for some years. I have the same result whichever of three state programs I use: wyoming, utah or arizona.
