using new micro sd card

I've managed to damage the micro SD card that came with my Edge 705 and discoverd this when trying to insert it into my new edge 800. The card will not slide into the reader adaptor to check /verify on my computer either. Now I cleverly backed up the data from the card city navigator 2009 and my new OS map just in case of such eventualities. My question is how does one go about installing the data from my mac onto a new card, also can two maps be saved onto one card and a choice made between them once the device is started up?

IF your maps came originally on an SD card, they may be locked to that particular SD card, which I understand is physically bad, so you may be out of luck. But if you saved the img files that came from maps on DVDs etc. you can just copy the img file to any SD card and use it on the unit they are unlocked to (assuming the maps were locked).
