Does it show up as a mass storage device? Can you transfer your activities to Garmin Training Center?

I have a 210, but not a 110. I think they are similar in design except for software. I have a hard time aligning the clip on my 210 to get all four connectors to align and to get it to mount properly. I usually have to fiddle with it for a couple of minutes before I get it right. If the 110 is the same as a 210, that might also be your issue.

It doesn't show up as anything. It's like it's not even plugged in.

Sorry, that's not the problem. The clip is aligned properly. I've found that one way to fix this problem is to just unplug the USB cable and plug it back in. I repeat this about six thousand times and eventually it will be recognized and I can upload my workout.

Extremely annoying, and I'm VERY disappointed in this whole process.

Every other USB device I've ever used works perfectly. Ipod, camera, mouse, keyboard...everything. This is the only device that seems to never be recognized by the computer.

What good is it if I can't download the data? Please help.

I have almost the same problem. Only my watch hangs every 3rd time i try to upload data. Ive spent some time searching around forerunner and garmin in general. And ive found out its a really bad brand. It always breaks before u used it more then a few times.

I strongly recamend Polar next time.
