I don't care if I run FireFox or IE I keep getting disconnected within 2 minutes. I can't even type a longer message as I get disconnected. After a few times try I then have to stay out for 15 minutes. I have read in a few areas of adding to trusted sites and followed instructions but to no avail. I now have to copy my post from a word document and cut and paste to get them in fast enough before I get disconnected. This have been going on for months, is there not a fix to this??

make shure "remember me" is checkmarked when you log in
  • I agree with THCRI, as on my laptop, I may be answering to one post, then going to another one, I have to log in again, often resulting in my PW not being recognized or my being told to wait 15 minutes and yet I tried to log in only once, after having logged in successfully. The funny thing, it happened to me from my Droid phone too, so it is not a computer problem on my side. I firmly believe something is awry on Garmin's side of this board but I can't find whom to talk to about that. Very frustrating!
  • I figured something out: the repeat requests to log in come from tabs I left open the last time I used the computer, and they did not refresh despite my having currently been logged into the board.

Once you log into the board, REFRESH any previously opened board tabs and they will recognize your currently been logged on. I just tried that and it worked!

Great Service, Garmin called me and has this issue working for me.

Uncheck the Trusted Site, and input http://*garmin.com

Also clean your cookies and history and lose IE out then restart. I am working.

Or, alternatively, use a mac :) I have this problem at my work PC as well (using Google Chrome). All is dandy with Safari from my home MacBook though.
