activity transfer to garmin connect failed due to service error

I have started getting this message over the past few days, and have been unable in some cases to force a transfer of data from my 310XT. I did a hard reset of the watch and uninstalled and re-loaded the ANT Agent, all to no avail.

Any suggestions?

    Well here are some wild guesses.

    Did you pair the devices again?

    None of this electronic equipment is perfect so maybe the little USB ANT stick went kaput or the ANT circuit in your 310.

    If you have a friend that uses a Garmin ANT stick you could pair your 310 to his stick on his computer and try to send your activity to his Garmin Connect account as a test. Then your friend could do the same test with his watch on your computer. Also swap the sticks around and test them. The results should tell you where the problem is.
