Odd elevation spikes

Hi,

I've noticed that I frequently see odd spikes in elevation in Garmin Connect. I am using elevation correction and these spikes certainly do not actually exist. I've seen this behaviour near home, and 1000 miles away from home. Does anyone else get this? Thoughts? Here is an example, look at 1.28km and 1.68km.
  • This is a known issue with elevation correction. The issue is caused by irregular trackpoints that contain an elevation point, but no GPS position. The recorded elevation is being included in the corrected profile because there is no GPS location available to generate a corrected elevation from. These points should be excluded from the elevation profile.

    I also think so.

Are there any plans for someone to fix this? It is really annoying.

Also the elevation graph always comes up initially as zoomed out all the way. Is there a way for me to get it to default to zoomed in all the way?
