1390T Safety Cameras

I've subscribed to the free trial of the Safety Camera updates for my 1390t. I assumed it would update all the speed camera info for the UK. Problem is I still get alerts for the 50mph average cameras that were setup on the M1 (J25 - J28 ) while there were roadworks which ended over a year ago. I assumed that the updated database would remove these from alerting.

When I check the following - tools / settings / system / about / extras and safety cameras i see UK Apr11-2011 listed but also UK Sept-30-2009 as well which makes me think it's using both databases. I've removed everything from the POI folder on the device and downloaded the update from the subscription site but both remain in settings?

Can anyone confirm if this is normal? If so whats the point of a subscription. If not how do you go about removing the pre-loaded safety cameras from the device? It's been driving me mad for days now trying to sort this out.

Anyone else in the uk still getting alerts on that stretch of the M1 who subscribe?

thanks.

Ok have fixed this myself along with another problem.

Removed all files in the poi folder didn't fix it so I cleared it out again then copied back all the old files including the old version of the uk database UKCyclopsSample.gpi dated 30th sept 2009. Then I connected to garmin and downloaded the latest update which overwrote the existing older file with the new one. Confirmed this was the latest in tools / settings / system / about / extras and safety cameras and the only UK DB listed. Confirmed by driving down the M1 that it no longer shows the old 50mph average cameras.

Second issue - since new I have never had Junction View ( over a year ). Despite logging with Garmin who just fobbed me off and said not all junctions are covered no matter where I've been it's never shown JV at all. So I've done some digging and it would appear a map update I applied last Jan broke it. I've not seen anything on Garmins site to confirm this but following a quick google I found that I had a file called cneuro_2010_30_jcv.JVC in the system/jvc folder. Once renamed this file to CNE2010_20.JCV as per some info I found on another forum and Junction View suddenly worked for the 1st time ever and the junction on the M1 I get off every day has a picture. Nice...
