Can't download activities!!!

I have a forerunner 310xt which will not occasionally download its activities. I am trying to get the activity stored on thr watch to my garmin connect account via a Windows 7 64bit PC. The activities in question get stuck whilst 'uploading'. I must stress that this is only occasional. This will remain this way as long as I leave the window open.

I have tried to attach a screen shot of the window showing the activies transferring, although this fails whilst uploading to the forum. Anyone else struggled whilst uploading bmp files?
  • Are you running the latest version of the 310xt firmware? Earlier versions had a problem with badfit files. You can search the 310xt forums for more information.

Yeah I had to check all the sortware versions due to inaccurate speed readings on a skiing trip, Garmin suggested a hard reset as well which I duly carried out

I didnt have any problems apart from the speed reading issue before the reset.
  • I have a similar problem.
When transferring to Garmin Connect (or RunKeeper), whether using Firefox or IE, a lot of the time, the transfer will hang and I have to kill the Browser process.

If trying to upload an activity to Garmin Training Centre then occasionally it will fail and I'll have to retry.

When uploading to Sporttracks, I don't recall ever having a problem.

I would at a guess say that the problem is with the Browser Plugin.

    a hard reset QUOTE]

I have to do this 30% of the times i try to upload data. Meaning i loose all my data all the time.

And i have all the latest updates and software.

I will try and open the folder on the watch when i connect it, copy activity folder and then continue and get the wtch to hang and reset it. But at least that way i got the data.

Anyway, its only 3 weeks old and this problem started after 4 days... great watch..
