Help.. Contrast Screen

Ok..My daughter was messing around with my Garmin 305 and hit the contrast screen...she scrolled down until you can see anything...
I have tried the soft and hard reset but i still can't see anything..
I have emailed support but was just wondering if anyone knew what i could do short of killing my daughter...:D
