My new oregon 450 worked well for two weeks, but then suddenly one day it started to shutdown on its own during the process of starting itself. I bypassed to the system by pressing the power button and reinstalled the firmware again but of it was of no use. Could anybody help with the problem?
Try remove SD card, insert battery and start Oregon without card. If it helps, then clear data on card in folder Garmin\GPX. Or format card in external reader.
If you don’t using SD card, try connect Oregon to PC via USB, clear data also in Garmin\GPX.
