Map shows in Player but not on dashboard??

I have had a 705 for 3 years now, with no problems, and I like using 'Connect', however recently occasional rides show no red line route outline on the dashboard mini-map or details page, however when you click into player, there it is, ready to go.

Is this a known problem, or something I am doing wrong, or can someone tell me a fix?

When things like that happen, sometimes clearing the browser cache will make it right again. It might be worth a try. The next question to ask is - does this happen on other browsers?

I just emptied my browser cache (tools and deleted all the history items?).

Then looked at the five items on my dashboard

1) NO route showing on minimap
2) yes, route in red on minimap
3) yes, route in red on minimap
4) yes, route in red on minimap
5) NO route showing on minimap

I looked at some of your activities. The one on 17 March wouldn't load on GC, so I exported a tcx and loaded it into Ascent, where I was able to see your route and everything looks fine. I exported it from Ascent and attached it to this message in case you want to upload it to GC.

I'm not sure what is going on, but most likely there's something wrong with the tcx file that Garmin Connect doesn't like. My first guess would be to ask you if you're resetting your Edge properly at the end of a ride. The proper procedure is to press start/stop when you are done, then press and hold the lap/reset button and wait for the 3-2-1 countdown. This resets the timer and saves and closes the file. If you're doing that properly, then I'm not sure what's going on.
