Can't upload

I'm having trouble uploading to Connect today - hasn't been working for the past couple of hours at least. I've tried using both Firefox and IE8, and I've tried logging out / in again, and clearing the browser cache. I've tried using a gpx file exported from SportTracks - no luck. I'm just getting the "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" message.

Anyone else, or just me?

    global issue

It's been happening since yesterday afternoon GMT yesterday; emptied the cache, tried forced upload, even 'created' new activity to test; Ant saw it, apparently uploaded it but then failed to send to GC due to server error.
Although it is nice to know my kit isn't duff but Garmin should either warn us in advance by putting a sticker in the 'announcements' or, sort it quickly.
Been using various Garmin for years; sad to see it's a server issue that's cauing trouble.

Cannot upload. Have logged on/off and rebooted multiple times. Are there not moderators that read these posts and can offer help?

The posts in this thread are related to Gamin's server problems that were resolved yesterday.

If you can't upload today, you probably have a different issue going on.

Also, this forum is intended mainly for user to user interface. If you want help directly from Garmin, you should call or email Customer Support.

In the meantime, what operating system and what browser are you using? Given more information, one of us users might be able to figure out how to help you.

Windows Vista operating system for me.

Vista works on my laptop ok. What browser are you using? Some have mentioned some problems with Internet Explorer 9. They said that turning on compatibility view for the site fixed it for them (see Explorer toolbar, compatibility view). Actually, turning that on for IE 8 also is a good idea).

What happens when you do try to upload? Do you get the upload screen? Does it seem to start uploading and then hang?

I have IE7. Checked out Tools but failed to see Compatibility View listed anywhere.

In short time I've had the 405CX (since Jan) it's worked great. I hadn't used it for a week. During that week this computer did have history/cookies all cleaned up but that's it.

Now when I plug in the ANT Stick and place my device near, nothing happens. Thought I found a way to upload manually but when I do I get a message indicating no new information to upload. I know that's not true as I observed what was recorded on my device as I ran this morning.

Thank you for trying to help.
