I have a new oregon 550. last week I updated software to 4.20 and gps software to 4.52. with the gcp and myDashboard.
I uploaded three geocache sites and NOW...
Computer does recognize the gps and lists it as Garmin oregon D: under my explorer. but niether mapsource nor mydashboard recognizes the device
when I explore this gps all the files on it were a mirror of my Recovery files that are in a hidden partition which I thought was odd since Im not sure why my files from my computer would be on this gps, There is nor GARMIN folder on this gps. which again is odd
I want to get this back up to its initial setup. but its completly empty of files and the usb is recognizing it as a flash usb drive and lists it having almost 5.84 gig of free space. so something is definately missing
AM i making this complex or s this an easy fix?
