Firefox 4. Communicator plugin doesn't work

Just updated to Firefox 4 but the Communicator plugin won't install.

Installing Firefox 4, it notified my that the existing Communicator plugin wouldn't work with it and that a new one wasn't yet available.

I tried downloading and installing it again anyway it wouldn't install.

We need an updated plugin to work with FF4.
  • OK. So just update my other computer (Windows 7) to FF4. Got no message from FF but still had to download and install the GC plugin. Once done, it works fine.

Yesterday, my XP laptop worked prior but not since installing FF4. I tried to connect to my 705, GC says the plugin isn't there and gives the option to download for FF, I download it, (after telling FF it's OK), start the install, and FF gets in a loop asking to download it again. Tried that several times to no avail.

So,this evening I try to upload from my 705 to the XP laptop again, get the message no plug in found, download the GC plug in, FF4 hangs, close and restart it, and it now it works.

    Oh well.

I have removed the plugin, restarted Firefox, reinstalled the plugin, and restarted Firefox, three times.

    "Garmin Communicator Plugin Test Page
Garmin Communicator Plugin is NOT detected."

Note sure what I did differently, but the fourth time it worked.
