310 Cadence Sensor Not Working

Hi, I have the 310xt. I am using the cadence sensor from my 305 which is supposed to work with the 310. All other functions are working properly:speed, heart rate, distance; everything except the cadence. What am I doing wrong? Is there a different process for pairing the cadence? I also changed the battery in the frame mounted sensor. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Jeff
  • The procedure is the same for cadence and speed. Are you sure you are getting speed from the sensor and not from GPS? You may want to check the alignment of the sensor and magnets. To do this, press the white reset button on the GSC-10 and spin the pedals and cranks. If everything is aligned properly, then you should see a flashing lights -- red for cadence and green for speed. Also, put the battery in the sensor backwards and hold it there for 5-10 seconds. This resets the ID of the sensor. Then put it in the correct way and try to pair.

Thanks a lot. I will do this tonight. Jeff
