view map in fullscreen on garmin connect

When you see your map on the connect page would it be possible to have a link "view in full screen (open in another window)".

2. Another thing I wonder about in the lap functionality. Nice to have the little tick-box but only every tenth lap shows up. No matter how much you enlarge the map.

I have the same question, I thought I could do it by using the Google Earth plug in but no luck.
I read that GFix doesn't work anywhere...

Can anyone suggest a solution or is this a know limitation?

You can use this bookmarklet I have created to resize the map to cover the whole browser window.

It works on the activity page but not on the dashboard page right now.

The bookmarklet mentioned earlier in this thread had stopped working properly due to changes on Garmin Connect.

I have now changed the bookmarklet to add a fullscreen control button to the map. When clicked the map will be truly full screen, not just the entire browser window. Also, the page is now intact after the full screen map is closed.

Note that this still might not work with the new design, I haven't tested since the new design isn't activated for my profile yet. But once it is I will be able to update the code without you having to recreate the bookmarklet.

Sorry, I have not been able to test since Garmin Connect "modern" is broken and doesn't work at all.

I figured out why "modern" failed to load so now I could fix the full-screen bookmarklet to work with the "modern" design activity pages.

I can;t believe that several years later, Garmin had this problem back then about not able to go full screen on the map, and still is the case!
