Share with other people not working

I am able to view your runs by searching for your username in Garmin Connect's "Explore Activities", so they are indeed set to public.

It's not mine, it's two of my friends that are not visible.
They have "Runjohan" and "Jippie!" as user names

Ok, I have no idea then. I did try searching for both names and it said no activities for both of them.

I did check "Runjohan" today and the default privacy is set to "public".
I also checked the activity page and saw that the padlock was open
Are there any other options to make it public and visible?

GC does not have the ability to search for activities by username. You can only select a location and then filter the rides in that local area by username. If you want to see your friend's ride you need to have them send you the link. Or if you know the start location of the ride you can go to that location and then filter it by username.

Actually, GC does have the ability to search in "Explore Activities" by username. I can do the search with my windows 7 system using Internet Explorer 8. I don't know about other browsers or operating systems.

I have just finished searching for "PTROPP" and have viewed his rides successfully. (His street running entry for today is titled "Slottskogenrunda 13,4 km " and the url is http://connect.garmin.com/activity/73484264 .)

To search by user in Explore Activities:
1. Click on "show filters"
2. Clear any characters, including space characters, in the "starting near" field.
3. Enter the username
4. Click the Search Button.

I didn't know that trick in #2 (clear the "starting near" field). I tried it and it does work. Thanks!

I've tried both. On my friends computer I actually saw the runs, but when I zoom in on mine they are not there. It's really strange.
