Gpsmap 62s Heart monitor

Hi
Please excuse this newbie question, Have looked for an answer on the forum but cannot see one, so if anyone could advise me please I would be very grateful.
I have a Gpsmap 62s with a Garmin heart monitor and have not been able to download the heart rates onto Connect. For example, this morning the unit was displaying my heart rate on my walk into work, but when loading up the activity to Connect there is no heart rate information showing, I wonder what I am doing wrong.
Many thanks for any suggestions.
regards
Peter

Just for ask,did you record a track? Cause if you don´t,you will never see your heart rate.
In case you have recorded a track, try to upload it via training center.
You must download tcx converter (free) and convert your .gpx file to .tcx (native of training center) and after that, upload it.
I had the same trouble with my 62s and it worked.
    Good luck Martin

    Its silly

    I hear ya.

Same thing with me. Its pretty bad when a top of the line model that supports heart rate and cadence, doesn't work properly with the 2 garmin apps made to support heart rate and cadence.

training center doesn't recognize the device, and connect doesn't do automated uploads.

I'm thinking Garmin has individual development teams that don't talk to each other.

    Same Problem...

With my Colorado. Try doing a manual upload of the GPX file if you can. When I tried that because the automated process seemed to be stuck I was surprised to find my HR and cadence info was actually there!

Garmin, if you're listening, having that info that is in the file upload automatically would be nice!!!
