How do I get 260 to recognize DS?

I don't seem to have enough room on my 260w to download my map updates...I subscribed to the lifetime. How do I get it to recognize my DS card that I have...I have never learned how to do that. I did go and delete any foreign languages or texts that I didn't need but that didn't seem to help...I am downloading part of my updates now...How can I get the rest? I could put them all on the computer but that wouldn't help me if I'm on the road...I guess I'm just confused.....

Its SD, not DS

DL the map to your PC/Mac

DL Mapinstall from http://www8.garmin.com/support/mappingsw.jsp

Once map DL is finished, transfer your map update to your SD card via the program I linked.

Done.

note- you will have to do all you future map updates this way
