installing ecoroute hd on nuvi 265w?

silly question, does ecoroute hd works on 265w? if it does, how can I install it?

I cant see any "connect to ecoroute hd" menu/button on the Settings section of my unit even when its already upgraded to the latest firmware.
are there any smart workaround on this?

Not according to the "Products" tab on the ecoRoute HD product page.

Works great on my 1490T though. I've just completed a 1000+ mile trip and have been using the data it provided.

nyarf! that means I have to ditch my 265w and get a 1490t :(

there must be a workaround on this, or perhaps garmin would consider integrating ecoroute hd on their next firmware upgrade.

this is where opensource firmware comes more useful i guess.

I was thinking if the Garmin guys could upgrade 265w firmware just to connect with the ecoroute hd. i just feel disappointed to ditch my less than a year 265w and buy another much compatible model for the ecoroute hd. Neither, I do have an android phone to download your suggested app.
